I've finally bought myself my Volvo s60. I got it in black too and the wheels I was hoping for also.

• T5 costs more to buy than a 2.0t
• In all the time I was looking the T5's in the volvo dealers where very rare and never in black.
• Insurance for me is about 30% cheaper with the 2.0t
• It uses slightly less petrol (still only getting between 28 and 30 mpg)

Still the car is fantastic. Full leather, black and lovely. To be honest the colour of the leather was not high on my list. I love the BMW tan colour leather with the black paint, but Volvo only do beige, grey or black. (Though they do orange leather on the R edition.)

It has climate control which is a must. It's amazing never to touch the heating controls. On my Civic I was changing them every 5 seconds.

Moving on, we have the uprated sound system. It's the middle one, not the top system. Still bloody amazing though, far better than the 5 series and 3 series BMW's I checked out. The stereo has a 4 cd changer in the front which is handy. Though I am looking at getting myself an Ipod adaptor... maybe.

Auto dimming rear view mirror is now a must on all car's I own, it is one of the coolest inventions ever made. Just you never get blinded by cars and never have to change it when driving.

I have my steering wheel controls, not a nescesity, but lovley to have, use them all the time.

Cruise control again is stunning, driving to scotland or any mass motorway driving it's a dream, you just have to steer and break.

Oh and heated steats, lovely warm bum in the cold winter mornings.

I just can't wait till summer to try out my aircon
